Holly Madison may not be at the Mansion anymore but Hugh Hefner’s Playboy Clubs are back everywhere ... except not on TV. NBC developed a one-hour drama set in a Playboy Club complete with the icon Playboy Bunny waitresses. But after only three episodes and a poor ratings performance, NBC decided to pull The Playboy Club off the air.

Playboy Clubs Make a Fashion Comeback

Holly Madison may not be at the Mansion anymore but Hugh Hefner’s Playboy Clubs are back everywhere ... well, at least on TV. NBC is developing a one-hour drama set in a Playboy Club complete with the icon Playboy Bunny waitresses.

Starring Amber Heard and Eddie Cibrian, the storyline follows working-class Playboy Bunnies and their complicated personal lives navigating around mob bosses in 1960s Chicago.

During the past season on “Mad Men,” a couple of episodes included scenes set at The Playboy Club in New York. This new series, it is said, is a take off of that show and will have much of the same feel as the popular “Mad Men” show.
